Directions for Use

Routine Maintenance

1. Wash cookware and dry thoroughly.
2. While the cookware is slightly warm, apply a small amount of Cast Iron Paste No. 1 using a clean cloth or paper towel.
3. Spread a thin, even coat across all surfaces, including the handle and exterior.
4. Buff away any excess until the surface appears smooth and satin-like.
5. Store normally.

For Seasoning or Restoration

1. Clean cookware and remove any loose rust or residue.
2. Apply a very thin coat of Cast Iron Paste No. 1 over the entire piece.
3. Wipe away excess product. The surface should appear lightly coated, not wet.
4. Place upside down in an oven at 450°F–475°F for one hour.
5. Allow cookware to cool completely.
6. Repeat as needed to build seasoning.
